Wasteserv was established in November 2002. As operator of last resort, the company is responsible for organizing, managing and operating integrated systems for waste management including minimisation, collection, transport, sorting, reuse, utilistation, recycling, treatment and disposal of solid and hazardous waste. The company also coordinates the export of waste to destinations outside the Maltese islands.
